The downstairs loo was the perfect opportunity to add a fun wallpaper and stunning colours into my new home. Saying goodbye to the previous owners brown cladding and yellow wallpaper was such a relief. Just check out that before photo!

I used my two favourite colours in this room BLUE and PINK. They are two colours that sit beautifully together, colours which we in society are used to seeing together. The old age colour choices 'blue for boys and pink for girls' has made pink and blue work in harmony with each other.

Do what makes your heart sing

It wasn't hard for me to revamp this room. I chose wallpaper that I fell in love with and tiles in the prettiest baby blue. Adding a pop of pink on the sinks frame adds dimension. However one of the main issues with the old WC was the ghastly boxed pipes. I knew I wanted a sleek look with the pipes hidden but unfortunately when we started the revamp we realised there was breeze blocks. So instead of pushing the pipes into a cavity wall which we didn't have we decided to steal 3 inches and create a stud wall which worked like a charm.

Hiding the pipes created the sleekness we were looking for, After that it was all about choosing prints and colours which were interesting and joyful. Job complete :heavy_check_mark:
