Bold wallpaper or plain walls

Yes, you can even layer on bold wallpapers! I think wallpaper is the easiest and can make the greatest impact. So whether you have a bold wallpaper or a plain wall lets get this laying started!

My first bit of advice is to take your time. There is no rush, build your home up slowly and in layers. So after I had added my beautiful wallpaper my two main colours where pinks and greens. Absolutely wonderful yes, but in my opinion still a bit flat and lacking that pop of colour that really makes a huge impact. So check out when I added a bunch of sunshine yellow tulips on the cabinet just look how it pops! I then knew sunshine yellow was my next direction! Try putting different colours from around your home until you find your POP colour.

Hanging Baskets and Artwork

Add a hanging basket in any colour on your wall, so your wallpaper or your paint colours or your pop colour. Ive keep my hanging basket in the greens but I made sure it was a deeper green so although its in harmony with the wallpaper it can be seen. And then you can apply the same principles with your colours with a print. As you can see you can add artwork onto wallpaper. Have a frame and if needed a mount to give negative space you can make sure your print stands out. My 2nd hand artwork works really well here because of the stunning gold frame and the darker background, this way its not lost in the wallpaper print.
